Greetings in the name of Glorious name of Lord Jesus Christ.
I am M.P. JOHNSON ( Ponnambalam ). My father’s name is Mr.K.P. Munusamy and mother’s name is Mrs.Ponnammal. I hail from the village called Kandoor in Kancheepuram District which is 60 kms from Chennai.
I have 6 brothers and one sister. I am the third child to my parents. After my Seconday education, I studied as a fitter & welder in ITI. After educating 2 years, worked in a company called Johnson Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd.
I was a staunch Hindu and a regular visitor to many temples. But I could not find the true peace and joy and I had to face many rough situations in my life. Sometimes it was a situation of life and death. During that moment, a brother named Rajan who is staying at Gajapathy Lala Street, Triplicance invited me for a prayer in a church nearby. Since I was a staunch Hindu, I spat over him and I said that never come to such places and decided to send four of my friends and I started to sleep.
As a I was sleeping, all of a sudden I was with those brothers who were going for prayer and walking along with them. Still I could’nt know how I accompanied with them. It must be the work of the Holy Spirit who sent his Angels who lead me to join with them.
Then the prayer started at 10pm by the brothers in the church. I was just watching them with a Murgan ( a Hindu God ) in the dollar of my chain on the neck. It was around 12 midnight all the brothers were filled with Holy Spirit and started to speak in tongues. As I was watching and laughing at them, the Holy Spirit as a fire came upon my body. I was thrown 8 feet from the place I was sitting. Then I started to confess each and every sin that I have committed and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour at 1: 30 am on 7-2-1987. I received the salvation at MPA Madras Pentecostal Assembly and Pr. Prabhudass was my spiritual father. By God’s will I took baptism on 25-3-1987 from Pr.Prabhudass. I desired to speak in tongues and fasted for three days and received the gift of speaking in tongues.
It is important to know about the calling of God for every Minister.
When my family came to know about my salvation and my Baptism, I had to face many pressures and I came out of my family with just a single suitcase. I had to live in a small prayer room in a house. There was no food to eat and the situation of loneliness without my family made me depressed. During those days, I asked God what is your will to be done by me by uttering the Acts 9 : 6 verses.
God gave me a vision that I am sharing the love of Christ, consequences of sin that leads to Hell and the second coming of Christ to individuals, men & women in villages and cities, sick people in hospitals through verses like Jeremiah 1 : 6, Revelation 2 : 10, Isaiah 61 : 1, 48 : 17.
Since this vision was very clear to me, I’ve decided to distribute thousands of tracts at street corners, New Testaments and Gospel Books at hospitals and prayed for the souls whom I met. Through this ministry there are many who have been blessed by healing, receiving salvation and baptism.
All this happened when I was working but in the year 1995 God called me to be full time servant. Since 25th February 1996 I am ministering to the souls.
Currently we have a Head Church in Egmore and also braches at Kandoor Village and Thoraipakkam.
As of now, we have ministered 2900 villages divided into four groups.
This ministry is a faith ministry with showers of God’s blessings proceeding towards the Kingdom of God.
